Skyline Moorage

River living at it's finest. Fish and wildlife abound. We enjoy sharing the river with herons, hawks, bald eagles, owls, ducks and geese; beaver and river otters.

Imagine: Dock your boat alongside your home and bring the day's catch up on deck to barbecue. Great neighborhood with friendly neighbors. Moorage has common areas and boat slips.

Shoreside common area property has boat launch ramp, organic gardening area with raised beds, campfire pit; plenty of safe parking for vehicles and boat trailers, as well as access to miles of trails along protected wetlands preservation areas.

Full time residency in privately owned moorage. No move-in fees!

Features:

Gourmet Kitchen

The house was beautifully designed by artist/contractors, who have built many luxury living spaces and have a keen eye for style. The heating ducts were left exposed for a Modern/Industrial look, with the theme carried to the face of the bar. The stair railings continue this original design concept using steel bars reminiscent of Portland's many bridges.

Recreational opportunities abound! Fish right off your own deck. Dock your boat alongside your home between river adventures. Canoeing and kayaking is great, any time of year. Enjoy a bird-watcher's and photographer's paradise. Nearby hiking and biking, of course. For hunters, waterfowl hunting just across the river on Sauvie Island.

Canada Geese

Historic and beautiful Sauvie Island, wildlife refuge and rural farmland, is a stone's throw, literally 40 yards from our door! http://sauvieisland.org/ Imagine rowing or motoring across to explore the island's abundant wildlife, as well as the many summertime farm stands, U-Pick-It produce venues, pumpkin patches and corn mazes in the Fall.

Twenty-Six floating homes are currently berthed at Skyline Moorage, a privately-owned moorage with many advantages. Slip rent is compatible with most every other place on the river.

Entrance To Skyline Moorage

Moving To Skyline Moorage

We love trains. Oregon Pacific rides the rails that boarder Highway 30, continuing to carry freight alongside the river as they have for over a century. The train whistle is a happy sound that reminds us of slower times. History buffs check out: http://www.pnwc-nrhs.org/hs_or_n.html
